Just a quick question fellas

 

Ref this HID kit for sale on ebay:

I'm looking at upgrading the stock headlights on the shortie' to HID units, now the headlight units on the shortie' ('95 import model) are different to the headlight unit on the LWB ('91 UK model).

 

Is the above kit the one that I need for the shortie'?

I'm sure somebody mentioned previously that the later spec headlights don't require the balast boxes as they are already setup to accomodate the HID harness and is just plug and play, is this correct?

You just snap all the kits multi plugs together and connect the two spades to your vehicle multi plug each side that pops onto your stock bulbs.

You do need the ballasts, if that's your query :cool3:

Basically keeps your hids on when you switch to main beam but does not fire them up when you flash your main beam with your hids off

Took all of 10 minutes to fit the HIDs this afternoon. I've just tested them at night and what can I say except, simply fantastic

 

 

headlights....

 

 

 

 

and full beams....

 

 

 

 

They were a simple plug and play job and work with no dramas

 

Quite possibly the best £30 I've spent on the zed, so if you haven't already switched to HID's fellas, I highly recommend it :yes:
