What tires between these brands would fit better on my Z for summer ride? or basically rest of the year...considering I live in sunny Spain and Z doesn´t drive much...

also heard about Pirelli Z....

The Yoko almost certainly. S1 evo is a bit average, the good Hankooks are the K110 Ventus V12 Evo.

Talking of tyres, here's what a few thousand miles of continuous long hard motorway and B road driving do to Pirelli P Zero's on the front of a zed

The rears aren't as bad but they've still taken a pounding.

For the last month or so I've been racking up on average about 10 hours driving per day in the zed, a third of that being pretty harsh B roads.

I hadn't even spotted the amount of wear, it was a friend of mine who commented the other day.

I've switched to a spare set of Dunlop Le Mans for now but lesson learnt, don't assume that your tyres are still good just because they were last time you checked; even if that was only a matter of weeks ago.

wheel alignment is next on the agenda I reckon, judging by the wear pattern

Flippin' 'eck Japslapper......:crying:

.......your fronts wore that much..?? Mine hardly wear at all - same with the SLK - the rears inevitably do on a powerful RWD car. But my fronts seem to perish before they wear...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

so basically this means I would choose Yokos?

Sorry mate - back on topic for you.....

.....Between Hankook, and Yokos, I'd chose the Yokos too.

But I would check to see what else was available for the same money and compare results among them all.

Well Richard I have Yokos actually but they are old and I can tell you they been outstanding! reading on autobild sports; I read that Yokos and Bridgestone are among the best...Yokos are a bit expensive compared with Potenza but I think I will go for Yokos again.
