i keep getting a red light on the bottom righthand side of the dash when i press the brake pedal this seems to be intermitant it looks like a fog light warning but it is red can any one help as i do not have a manual to go by

it is on the left as u face the dash in the bottom corner and shows up like a light beam am i on the correct one and why is it intermitant can anyone give me a link to a diagram of the uk spec dash as i dont have a manual please

Could be an earth fault on one of your brake lights. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Either have a bulb out, or on the way out. or a poor connection at one of the bulbs.

 

Or the Light checkbox is on the way out, which is a somewhat common fault.

 

Its a black box, the size of a pack of 10 cigarettes, hidden behind the plastic boot panels with a yellow/white connector plugged into it.

Drivers side, rear corner. Usually clipped up inside, but often hanging loose on its wires.
