Has anyone of you experience with waterinjection?

And for you guys with english humor: I DON'T mean pissing in the fueltank!

I've seen from ERL a system called Aquamist and I was interrested in it as it would work great against detonation (as I would have bigger intercoolers, higher octane fuel etc.)

Has anyone of you such a system fitted in their car?

if you actually speak to aquamist they dont really like saying it is a means of curing detonation.

I am considering it and i know one or two guys on the ttnet have had very good results out of it.

Hi 300z,

any idea of how much gain (in horsepower etc.) you can get with this system? And do you also know the downpoints except the accasionally filling up of the watertank?

the system itself doesn't give any gains in horsepower, but it gives the ability to increase the boost and advance the timing without detting.

The kits from aquamist are not sufficient for a twinturbo setup and it needs to be adapted and a few things need to be added.

I know a guy in Germany that also has fabricated something similar and although it looked a bit dodgy,he had some good results with it.
