clucth master cylinder help

Featured Replies

It's quite simple really but a bit of a bugger getting at.

Assuming it's a TT;

Undo the fluid connection, you will need something to catch any fluid that will pour out the hole. Then undo the two bolts that hold the master cylinder to the brake booster.

Put the new one on the booster, bolt it up and reconnect the fluid line. Top up with fluid and bleed the system. Job done.

Not sure if you'll need to adjust the pedal or not but you'll soon find out when you test it.

The NA is a bit different as it doesn't have the booster.
