do we all spend more time with our cars than the missus?

we all like to tinker with our cars im sure, but lately its turning out to be almost be an obsession. got home at 4, straight out to the car and have only just come in due to lack of light. todays project.... finished installing an alpine subwoofer in the boot.

will spend the next few hrs reading up/looking at this website to see what i can do next.

if i cant think of anything then i'll just have to wash/hoover her again tomorow.

Buy a couple of flood lamps for the garage like we did, me and Mikey just put my engine back together tonight, finished about 20 minutes ago :D

Well for starters, the Zed doesn't answer back... She also doesn't complain when I'm tinkering with her exhaust system.

They're both pretty equal on running costs though

Does it really matter?? If its got tits or tyres its gonna cost a fortune lol!!!

slightly off topic, but i created the thread so its allowed.

been tinkering again, wots the connector with the resistor? and which one is the dett sensor bit?

IMG_0322.jpg

That's the det sensor bypass. Det sensor has it's own little loom that plugs into that. It should be around the same area as that one.

hmmm i read about a det sensor bypass, not a good thing to have apparantly. couldnt see the other part that plugs in

could of been removed due to being faulty. It should run up from the back of them engine.

i remember jeff saying i had a faulty det sensor but think he fixed it by cleaning it up, not sure
