Right Searching is just giving SOOO much conflicting data.. What is the definitive cheapest but reliable way to replace the ever so weaping bushes?

OEM?

Poly?

New Arms?

Thanks

I have poly bushes fitted to mine, though I now understand that poly bushed can cause the tension arms to stress and fail. I think I would say fook the cost and stick to OEM if I had the choice again, just for the added ride comfort.

New style poly bushes are better designed now and do not have the issue`s that previously led to lower fixing failure.

The poly bushes come with all what is needed for around £60, changing them is easier with a press and a few different drifts, remove the arms from the car and go to a garage with a press...takes about 5 mins for both.

Are the Japspeed rods for 107 worth getting? (I take it thats the pair...)

The car is not going anywhere soon.

Nismo do some rubber ones which is a good comprimise between comfort and stiffness, not fitted them yet as they took a while to come from Japan. Pricey at 80 quid though.

any more advice???

Thanks

9 times out of 10 there is very little difference between the branded (Japspeed/Driftworks) to the unbranded stuff its all made in the same factories in china, only difference these days is the amount of mark up the reseller puts on them.

remember most of the R&D for these parts was done 10+ years ago when these cars were still fairly new and popular, The designs have been copied and re manufatured so many times now.
