I'm in Raleigh, north Carolina just now. Flying over to Atlanta first thing sat morning. Can't wait!

well, thats me back from the states. What a caffuffle!

 

My work course was in Raleigh - Z Nationals near Atlanta.

 

My return flights were Raleigh-Atlanta-Paris-Edinburgh and were scheduled for Sunday. Simples i thought, the air line will change the first leg of my flight to Saturday morning, i'll get the day at Z nationals and fly home from Atlanta on the Sunday.

 

You would think! £1100 they wanted!

Ok, i'll drive to Atlanta on Saturday (450 miles) and just miss the first leg of the flight. ehhhhh... £2700 if i did that!!!!!

 

So, needless to say it was a no brainer. Z nationals was not going to happen. :(................My arse!

 

Up at 2am on Saturday - drove 450 miles from Raleigh to Atlanta for Z nationals. Drove 450 miles back that evening and then jumped on a flight back to Atlanta. lol

 

But, well worth it! Had a great day and got me some bargains. sooooooo many zeds!!!! Lots of nice zeds, some famous zeds and a free BBQ. Plenty pics so ill pop them up in a new thread.
