HOW EASY IS IT TO REPLACE THE SPARK PLUGS I NOTICE ON ONE PLUG AT THE BACK OF THE ENGINE IT IS UNDER A METAL PIPE WHICH LINKS UP BOTH INLET HOUSINGS

Hi Spencer,

 

It's not that difficult, if you have the right tools. The plugs are quite far down "the hole" and it is easiest to use a long sparkplug wrench. To get to the number 5 & 6 plugs - the ones under the balance bar - remove the bolts holding either side of the balance bar and carefully angle one side away. This should give you access to one plug at a time. Make sure that nothing falls into the holes and check to see if the rubber O-rings in the balance bar are still in good condition.
