take the plastic triangle off from inside the car, there are 3 x 10mm bolts inside, once removed, make sure your holding onto the mirror and then unclip it from inside the car and feed the wire out through the hole simples.

would be a 10 min job if it wasn't for the bloody door card, lol

nightmare i had to change mine took 30 min or so , removing the door card was a pain just so you can unplug the eletrics

i managed to pull the card open enough at the top to disconnect it without removing fiddly but pretty simple.

eh? door cards easy mate, just need to know where all the screws and bolts are hidden, ooh and to remember to do it with the window half down.

Had a little drama tonight!!

 

Wanted to remove the wing mirrors to paint the grey triangles black to match the rest of the trim I've been doing. However rain put an end to that plan.

 

Got my car off the axle stands after having no luck sorting my reverse lights, sorted my brakes and finished the trims off.

 

I also ground off the bottom edges of the window stud that catches on the window rubber when you put the window down. So far so good.

 

As it's getting dark my window won't go up!!! PANIC!!!!!!!!!

 

I called groover and he advised me that it was more than likely to be a little black box in the drivers door. So, I had to take off the door card on the breaker and remove the little black box from there and then remove the door card from mine and swap them over. Bingo!!

Oh bugger, I didn't even think to take the wing mirror off!!

I can take mine off without moveing the door card :wack:
