Koyo rad question

May sound silly but would there be an issue do you think if instead of the lower drain plug on the rad I fitted the temp sensor for my after Market gauges??? It will fit in there perfectly.

Any thoughts??

Pretty sure that you would be getting false temp readings as the coolant will have been cooled by the rad before it's read.

Just Drill and tap a hole for the sensor on the main top water pipe next to the other temp sensors !

I'd probably bugger up my polished pipes doing that, could I just tap into the existing sender do you think???

At the moment I've got my temp gauge connected to the same sender as the stock one. I've compared temps with both gauges and conzult and they're reading the same.
