All 300zx's, no matter which market they were intended for, were built in the Nissan Shatai plant in Japan

I have just red this from a book called 280/300ZX By Brian Long.

It states from TopGear in 1994, Jeremy Clarkson wrote, This time they've gone too far. Normally I'd happily sign petitions and march about if it would have the grass stay green and the sky stay blue, but not on this occasion. Environmental pressures have signed the death warrant on the 300ZX and frankly it's just not on. The article stated that a total of 1,390 300ZXs were on the British roads.

So I guess the total must have been that in September 1994!!!

I'd like to know how many are left now??

Hope this helps :)

All joking aside, I do find it amazing that apparently the last JDM car was simply sold as stock. I'd have loved to have ordered one new, it would have been so exciting waiting for it to come!

Doubt i'll ever be in a position to buy a brand new car, not that I would really want to because of the amount of money you would loose. Would be nice to have the money to loose though!

I bought my first Zed with ONLY 29K on the clock, full service history. I bought it over 11 years ago and still own it now. I've kept it in storage hoping one day it might be worth money again.

Now 11 and a half years on I've only put 5K miles on the clock :) It still looks and smells new. It's a real dream to drive compared to my other Zed's.
