a little bit of play ...walk away there should be none at all .....any play at "x" thousand revs the turbine spins at and it will very quickly destry itself or bearings and feed nice big chunks into your plenum.....unless you are going tooverhaul them that is ...but make sure there is no turbine tip damage or housing wear

i dont think they are skilled enough to say it should be no problem see if they will put a guarantee on that statement. Think i know the zed these have come off and the engine was running NOS and looked a right state

Your right mate, they are selling the block with NOS separatley. Was the car on here?

I'm going for Z1 GT525's I think. Gotta spend the op bonus on something haha.

the car was on ebay i was watching it went as a breaker for around a grand. The engine looked in a terrible state and it hadnt been run for about a year apparently

If it is a roller bearing turbo(s) then there will be a tiny bit of play as standard.

i also seen it on ebay, you're right, it was a proper mess, if they are off the same car i'd stay well away!

They look like 2510s to me. They ain't roller bearing

if your replacing the tubs its money well spent getting new if you can afford it ..if not then cut back on something else till you can....its one of those jobs you only want to do once ..
