Whilst respraying the zed, i decided to sort out my wheels...

£20 polishing kit off ebay has worked wonders!!

 

What sealant do i need to use to seal the split rims though??

nice finish, what kit did you get in the end, that looks a fantastic shine, id use tiger seal to get the bond together, plus it can work up to high temps as well and should leave no gap for air if a continuous bead.

 

but if someone else has used something else, or the correct stuff for it, im sure they will comment.

:blink: At the moment ive got 2 seats and a rear bumper for my zed in our bedroom ,the missus is going crazy..been there for weeks now.:helpsmilie:

I use my old zed seats as computer chairs underneath the stairs - perfect given the low ceiling!

 

Those wheels look as good as new - cracking job! :thumbup1:

My other half wanted to keep his motorbike in the dining room but I said no. He's already got a saxo drivers seat in there that he uses with his playstation!

I have always used silicone mate,clear is best-put plenty on,bolt em' up and trim the excess when dry.:wink:

Yes that sure is in the living room - when your garage is full up with the rest of your car you have to move into the house!

 

With regards to the lip...its polished up nicely - do i need to spray a layer of lacquer on to protect the metal?
