Just upgraded my boot install with an additional Genesis amp and a JL 10W6.

1st thing is the silver ring round the W6. Although it's a signature feature, I'm finding it jarring on my eye. Opinions please!! Any suggestions welcome. Was thinking of spaying it satin black.

2nd thing is - any ideas on pepping up the plastic boot panels. Mine are looking a little tired with a few scratches and marks.

3rd thing - do you like my two amps side by side!! LOL!! I've always liked the finish on Genesis kit let alone the awesome sound quality. Did it all my self you know!! (which is evident on close inspection hence the poor quality photos!!) :tt2:

I like everything about it, it looks FAB!!! love the silver ring around the sub,I bet it sounds awesome!!! there was a guy on here a few months ago `flocking` interior parts and someone got there boot panels done, maybe worth a search!! ;)

Nice work Andy, quality components. The silver on the sub ties it in with the amps imo.

With regards to the flocking, that was the road I am planning on going down with my new and improved boot build.

When I eventually get round to it lol.

Very kind of you Daz!!

unfortunately, the silver on the sub is a mid silver paint and for me, it clashes slightly with the polished ally on the strut brace and the amps.

I know it may sound OTT but it's bugging me!!

Yep, sound is good but I haven't fine tuned it yet and need to look at bridging the Minblock. It's hard finding the right time so as not to piss off the neighbours! I'll show it to you if you come to JAE.

Flocking is something I'm not too keen on at the moment. Will need to see someone else's maybe?

Even if I did fancy it mate, I have no funds at the moment!! I look forward to seeing yours though.

Looking forward to hearing yours buddy. A high end install I can only dream of at the mo.

Hi Andy mate

that looks fookin awesome fella !! the scratches on the trim can be rubbed down with very fine wet and dry, and then a coat of satin black trim spray paint or trim cleaner will bring them up nicely....
