looking to upgrade the brakes to 350z discs, but cant find anywhere that does the brackets for it, il be keeping the 300zx calipers just upgrading the discs to 320mill off the 350zx, does anybody know a place that sells the brackets and has anybody done this and what the results like also can i do the same with the rears

Yep, 4 is ideal. Just avoid 5, its not compatible with 3,4 or 5.1 fluids or associated ABS systems.

lol no, Brembo are a large manufacturer of high end Brake setups for performance cars, but AP Racing are more popular in Racing. This is true.

 

Which is the better manufacturer ? - I don't have an opinion (or care :p lol), it depends on the application I suppose.

cheers 4 the advise i think il go with the 350z brembos on the front,a Brake Master Cylinder Stopper Kit, flush the break fluid and replace wit dot 4, braided brake lines, what will i do with the rears get grooved standard size discs or??????

Anyone seen the Akebono 370z brake upgrade for the 300zx ?,z1 sell it.Absolute bargain for a 14" disc and genuine Nissan 370 caliper set up.

AP are a much more well known racing brake manufacturer than Brembo however.

 

Still well happy with my Brembo's :)

Sounds good.

 

You'll be fine with the stock rear brake setup, but you could go for some new discs and high performance pads for a little improved bite and fade resistance if you wanted.

yea i only after putting yellow stuff pads on it less than 100miles ago so might just uprate the discs on the back

whooooa there !!!! brake fluid ??? i thought dot 5.1 was an upgrade from normal fluid and was ok for road use ? ..i have a the K sport big big brake upgrade front and back ..do i need to use dot 4 fluid in it ??

5.1 is fine to use, it offers the highest boiling point of all the Glycol based fluids and is compatible with Dot 3 and 4.

 

(Dot 5 is the one to avoid)
