I´m looking to buy a 99 late model purple Z, I´ve always focused my search on bonsai cars..and neweraimports ,but to be honest not too many Z´s shown z2 I mean from 1999...they are all old and looks trashy...

I was wondering that japanese also have their local sources to find new and used cars...thing is I don´t handle japanese lenguage too well; that said..any links and info on where to find a 99 purple or any local shops specialized in Z´s in Tokyo or Japan itself?

There are a couple of people in the UK I know of who have agents in Japan sourcing cars for them

PM me if you want their names....

try http://www.jm-imports.co.uk jurgen has a great reputation but beware the last time i spoke about importing it was very expensive due to the exchange rate

And it still is!

Cheapest purple 99/2000 model I could find so far was a non turbo, auto, 55,000miles, Version-S; that car landed in the UK with all duties paid and on the road would cost around £11500 today, give or take.

Cheapest Twin Turbo 98/99 model I can find in purple is manual, 33,000miles, standard car [not Version-S] on the road in the UK would be around £16,800 give or take.

May as well just buy mine lol

i dont think so, euro's still have to be exchanged as pound's do and im sure a pound is similar value to a euro, will still cost a fortune, as said email jurgen he will be able to give you definate price's or ask sudesh what he would charge

But...remenber one thing..I get pay in euros..so i think it is cheaper for me?

Yip exactly what stellaZ has mentioned, it wont be cheaper, but importing has many factors and exchange rate is one obviously, however in this case the euro is less in value than the UK pound and the YEN, so you wont get it cheaper.

The only way you might save money is to look into the import laws, duties and tax for your country. It may work out less, but could very well cost you more!

Oh and just to add, I've been importing cars from Japan since 1994!! So have quite a bit of back ground into it.
