Its 700hp capable yes. Somebody could get themselves an absolute bargain there , although Im not sure what its exact current status is, and its an untested engine.

Worth it for the parts I think but surely it'll need a rebuild as a matter of course.

No reflection on the previous rebuild of course, just with it having been stolen and then found in a field, God knows what has worked its way in there.

For the right price however, it would be a good buy for someone

I'll take the turbos if anyone wants the rest :)

Well, took the plunge (and a bit of a gamble maybe) but after speaking with Steve several times I went ahead and bought his engine

It is now tucked up in my garage

the only damage that I can find is this bent pipe,

I hope to be able to strip the main parts down, just out of curiosity then once I have all new gaskets and seals I'll be sending it to a professional to be buit back up. It will be sometime before it gets into my car, as I need to save for a better clutch, prop and TB's and Emerald map etc. :thumbup1:

Any other items I may have missed guys?

good gamble, worth rebuilding, it was sat at a "specialist's" for a long time and wouldnt be suprised if they did something to the engine
