Odd question but has anyone ever fitted the sump with the reserve at the front? I know it require mods/custom sump and feed pipe but has it been done?

And before you ask why it's the easiest way to get better clearence for this....

Look interesting... no experience of it, but can't see it being an issue provided it's properly baffled/ gated and the pickup located properly... for belt and braces, you could use an accumulator as well?

Is that an S14? Controversial mod that, I'd of stuck with the SR.........bet you've heard that a million times.

Yup :whistling:

But my thought process explained...

I want a S14 for track, I buy one cheap with a knackered SR, sell turbo/loom/ecu and some other bits and cost of buying car covered

The S14 has to be quick so rebuild SR for big power = £££££££

I have a spare TT engine/tubs/manual box/intercoolers, so ECU/Loom, few other bits, some hard work and J Dixon chip and 350bhp!!!!

just cut it in half, top and bottom and weld it back togther the opposite way round. as said you will have to modify the pick up tube and extend the oil feeds. simples, lol (he says)

Thought that was the best way, thinking of extended down 10mm or so to increase oil capacity
