got back at 3am and still knackered, but wanted to say how I enjoyed Turkey, I`ve always done Spain,Tenerife etc and Turkey is just as good, cheaper but bloody HOT!! 45 degrees most days, Turks are very friendly and the hotel was Fantastic especially for kids and big kids:clown:

Stayed in `Side` Antalya at the seven seas imperial, massive hotel pool, with water park and right on the beach, food was excellent and the staff were very very nice!! if you looking for a good holiday with the kids, i can recommend this hotel highly.

anyway hope you all missed me:laugh:

you all know me too well:rofl:

is that why you take a microscope on a date?

you luck bugger!! cant say much about Turkey itself as we stayed in the hotel complex most of the time, went out to `Side` for a night out shopping and it was very nice, ancient ruins and 1 long street down to the harbour with shops selling fake designer goods, perfume and jewelery, the ride in from the airport shows a 3rd worldish scene, with shanty towns and dusty roads but mountanous and quite scenic, the major resorts are well built and hide you away from the shanty town bits, the people are very nice and genuine and I would deffo go back, hope you have a good time, where abouts you going?

were going altinkum or sumet @ summerset village, 2 1/2 weeks off work cant wait!

Did you buy any funky shoes? You know the one's I mean!

I love the way the Turks can get 45 watches up your arm before you can say 'no thanks just looking!'

LOL, I took my 7 year old niece to look at some camels, i took a few pictures and the Turk man said `sit on?` I said no its ok... he said `no problem, sit on...I said no its ok.......before i knew it, she was sat on and then somehow he got me on .....a blink of an eye and were off down the prom for a spin on a camel, 10 foot high!!! I had to stop him and I shouted from above, `no money!!!` he shouted back up, `pay later no problem` :crying: fook me were off, I`m thinking how much is this gonna cost, lol, anyway 5 mins later he stopped the camel and we got off and he held his hat out for a donation... I said `no money` which I didnt, Barsteward remembered me next day and I gave him a tenner:crying: but yes very cunning people, but i suppose its the way they get buisness............camel got the hump :tt2:
