ZX Modifications

I have a 1990 modified Twin Turbo, and I have just discovered a couple of components under the trim in the passenger foot-well that i did not know about.

They are an HKS Automatic Line Oil Pressure Controller, and a Project M ECU.

Can anybody enlighten me as to what they do,and how they improve my car's performance?

The HKS ALC is for your auto box. I think it makes it hold the gears longer and change up quicker, but the auto owners will be able to tell you better.

The HKSALC increases the oil pressure in the auto box and provides faster more positive gearchanges. Never used one so can't say if it works.

The ECU is probably a modded chip. The mods could be anything from top speed limiter removal to the complete dogs danglies. i don't know Project M.

This could be aproblem as they are not a known Z chipper (anyone else know em?)Try contacting them - they may be able to tell you.

Check for other mods like higher boost pressure etc.
