As my old wheels really need a refurb, I was looking on Ebay the other day and found a set of shiney new Cruise 190s for £400.

 

Not the best wheel out there but for that money they'll do the job......!!

 

I've also decided to upgrade my head unit to a DAB one; as I have got used to having DAB in the Merc. So I snapped up the latest Kenwood offering, with the additional Bluetooth interface......

 

.....so 3 guesses what I'll be doing at the weekend....!

Love the alloys Rich and nice deep dish I hope to see plenty of pic's when thet are on the zed and a write up on them as I am after a set also but dont know what to go for at this stage, I always liked Ant's Fuel 5 alloys which are very like yours. I take they are 18"?

I just costed up a set of Goodyear F1 Asymetrics in 265/35/18 and 235/40/18 but the cheapest I've found comes in at £752 all in fitted. Although dropping to 255/35 rears brings it down to £694 (from Event Mobile Tyres)........

 

.....So I will try swapping the current ones first, but my existing fronts are 225/40 on 8x18s so they might be a bit stretched on 8.5 wide rims. My rears are 265s and still have 5mm left!

New Magic sky roof looks cool as does the new COMAND online - some things are a bit gimmicky - web browsing is pretty pointless but you can plan out a complete route on google maps & download it to your car!!

....oh and yes on the Merc mate! Mine was in for a service a couple of weeks back and they had one in the dealers. It was only the 200 but it's still a lovely car. It's way nicer than the new Z4 and it makes the Boxster look very dated now

 

I think I'll wait until next Christmas and then look into getting a 12-18 month old 350 with AMG sport pack. Providing they have dropped a sufficient few £££s from new.....:1eye:

if it's the same seller, then he also sells the full fitting kit for £21; which includes the rings, new nuts, valves and a set of locking nuts.
