CLUTCH?

ive got a uk spec 91z, and the clutch is knackered. Ive been quote £600 by local nissan to get it fixed, ripping off b*******.Whats the best way to get it fixed, i.e recon my own or get new one. Which is a decent brand anyone can recommend if its a new one. Ive been quoted around £200 for LUK, SOLID, ADL. aNYONE GOT ANY OF THESE AND HAD ANY PROBLEMS. Is there any difficulties i might get into that i should know about when changing the bugger??? Thanks lads. Hope you can sort me out!!!

I would update the clutch to something that can handle more power. That way if you ever mod the car for more power you have the job done already.

Decent modifed clutches are about£400 but should handle around 400bhp no problem, just a thaught.

Benchod thanks very much for the info vij, but i dont know my arse from my elbow when it comes to repairs so i will get my mate to do it. I ain;t goin to modify the car so i will probably use a standart clutch. Avjo.
