GARGLE SOUND STOPPED WITH SUPA UNLEADED

the gargle sound stopped when i used super unleaded petrol .does anyone no why and do i have a problem?

gonna cost me a fortune if i stick to super petrol.

    no it was definately a gargle noise,not rattling or clinking,it sounded to me like the aiv question that gets asked on here so many times,thats why i was so surprised when it stopped when i put super unleaded petrol in my car. If you have any ideas i would love to hear them cos i am lost with this one.

    You sure your gargle sound hasn't died away with the dry period that has hit the UK, ie, water evaporating in the unit. Deacceleration through the gears is meant to clear it Halledgelly!
