It's from my Racelogic TC and I'd like to get the correct crimpers for them but haven't got a clue what they are. The total lenght of the crimp is about 2cm.

 

Any help would be great :)

Ive always just soldered the wire to the inner and folded with pliers

yep solder is the best thing to do ..

I've always struggled to get solder to stick to crimps though.

you need a 20>35w iron ..

you get the crimp and Tin it .. by heating up with iron and adding sole solder ..

then you strip your wire Tin it the same way cut down to the right lenth ..

put it on the crimp and add the iron to solder it togeather u can add some more solder at this point all so u can crimp it before soldering or after

i have never had any problems with connections like that and i solder stuff like this evey day

It could be that my soldering iron isn't hot enough then as iirc it's a 15w one.
