Jap rear is definatly the better looking imo, with fogs integrated into the reverse or brake lights..

The square fogs cut into bumper on a UK is ugly and dated.

Prefer the smaller square plate recess of a Jap rear too.

No contest really, jap spec rear all the way, they really did make the rear end a mess when they designed the UK spec one. the rear of the car has enough lights on it as it is, why add two more between what can only be seen as a after thought with the UK spec number plate.

its the smaller plate recess on the JDM models that do it for me, I really dont like the UK rear.

Trickey one for me that.......

.....I think the rear fogs in the bumper look dated now, but I prefer the "normal" UK style number plate.

So I thought I'd be different from the crowd and vote UK spec. Plus I have one so it must be best....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I voted UK spec too, because they are better! Simples!

tbh I quite like the fogs, dunno why, just do, and I prefer the UK style number plate on the rear, because it makes the car look sleeker, as opposed to the fat number plate that makes the rear of the car look fatter and more chunky.

I've owned both, like the UK but went for the JDM. However I hate mine at the mo as it's got the biggest fog light hanging off it LOL

Love it when these threads basically turn into a 'vote for your own zed' thread! I voted for JDM spec bumpers, er, because that's what I have - so it must be the best?

I agree - would like to get clear fog lamps however, wonder what happened to the plan that a member was going to do these?? Prob not enough interest from owners that like UK rears LOL!

So those who like the jap spec best. Where do you think is best for the fog lights? I certainly wouldn't like the one hanging down.

Mine is in the rear brake bit (in inside bulb is a fog and the outside is the brake). Im just thinking I liked both of these lights being the brakes. so do I amend the centre panel?

Zedwizz on here does a LED jobby, it goes in the reversing lights, 25 leds on each board, I've got them, they're brilliant, I've got the top 2 as fogs, and bottom 2 as reverse, also leds by him too.... I'll see if I can find a pic....

Me too. Very nice.

I replaced my UK rear with a smoothed JDM one and installed lights in the side strips. It now looks much better :)
