Hello Jaylox,

Are you sure it's warped disks and not worn tension bushes?

Vijay

The car will shudder when braking slowly from high speeds with knackered bushes.

For Skyline brakes you need 17 inch wheels on

Hey m8

i got this up til a while ago. do a caliper seal kit and put it on a fresh pair of disks and pads and it'll be fine!

Wont stop the car though. i think the brake design is just shit but it makes a hell of a difference.

i have a judder at speeds over 50 mph,not so much at slow speeds.when braking at really high speeds and braking hard its not far off shaking the whole car to bits.

it is the disks aint it????

I think that is more likely to be the tie rods. You notice warped discs more as very low speeds. You could have both of course !

fun and games...

...I had loads of trouble, replaced a knackered tie rod, then replaced the disks, then cleaned out and freed the calipers and greased them (pink hydraulic grease under the dust seals) - and it still juddered. Then I replaced the standard pads with green stuff pads and it stopped better but still juddered. Then I put back the original disks (which I thought were warped) and it all went right. Car now brakes without any judder and it stops too.

...explain that lot...

good luck

You might need to put a dial gauge on your hubs to check that they turn true. Just maybe you have a bad wheel bearing one side that lets the disc run skew. You could end up with similar problems.
