hey guys. the reason i ask this here is that i have seen many other threads about very personal issues treated seriously (well as seriously as can be expected from you lot lol) and some great suggestions and advice have been given, so here goes.....

 

basically, i need to entirely kill my sex drive for the sake of my relationship. and i want to find a fairly safe way of doing this that preferably dosent involve a big knife and a wooden spoon to bite on!!!!

its been about 8 months since the mrs and i have been close physically, and to be fair to her we have just had a baby, which dosent leave much time for us, but weve never been like rabbits lol (except when trying for the baby. but with time going on so long, i find myself eyeing up other girls who i normally wouldent look at twice lol. now im not going to cheat on the mrs, as its just not fair and i wouldent put her through that, but something is bound to happen sooner or later. ill only have to be out drunk somewhere and i might not be able to fight of the advances of some similarly drunk lass :-(

 

so, if anyone knows of any meds / drugs i could take to totally kill off my sex drive (or any i should deffo avoid! as a lot of antidepressants keep being suggested), or any other suggestions, please let me know!!!!! my palms are beginning to get hairy and i think im going blind lol!

As for the sex thing, to be honest, if she "doesn't think it's that important", then does that mean she wouldn't actually be that upset if you did sleep around? I mean if it isn't important, it can't be that big of a deal either can it?

Joking aside tho Rob, it is a big issue in a relationship - and presumably you do really want your missus to on the same page as you. Hence the suggestion re couples counselling. With a counsellor there you won't be allowed to deteriorate into an argument, its all done constructively. Even if you could get her to see that its important to you, hence it should be a bit higher on her list of priorities, you could take it from there...

but like i said, shes never been that keen.

To be honest I think it is for a LOT of couples. Most of my female mates seem to spend 90% of their couple time avoiding sex than just getting down and enjoying it!
