dunno about compatible issues with vista, but you might have with the full conzults program.

 

I have one that looks exactly the same as that, even has consults printed on it. but for the life of me i cant get the paid version of conzults to recognize it to save me life, it does how ever work with the free version but this is very limited to just showing you stuff.

 

Instead i use scantech nissan, which does the same job, even does cylinder tests and gives you average drop of rpm between cylinders. timing and a whole host of other things.

 

So a worth while cable to get indeed.
