for starters i took my bumper of to put my induction in as the airbox was coming far too close to the bumper... and to fit it, it 'should' have 4 screw holes on the back of the filter/housing to allow you to bolt the MAF to it, then refit the MAF to the intake hoses.

but as mackam maz said...a picture is worth a thousand words.

a picture of the attatching side would be more beneficial. If it doesnt have any screw holes on the rear side, you may have a type where you are given a metal tube to which the filter is clamped onto then the intake hose is clamped onto that, as ebay pics aint too reliable...if thats the cause i would say that is the wrong one, as you require 4 screw holes to fix it to the MAF.

If im wrong im sure someone with more knowledge will come along soon.

bloody hell - £200?!

personally I would see if you can return it & get one of these: http://www.courtesyparts.com/jwt-pop-charger-air-filter-for-1990-1996-300zx-p-227601.html?cPath=882_5894&

Has a venturi adapter to bolt up to the MAF & just fits straight in place - about £55 + shipping!! Thats what I have! its pretty much a K&N with JWTs own adapter.

Apexi are also very good

does your kit move the maf or is there an adapter to bolt up to the maf??

where does it position the filter?

cheers hollings and mackam maz , got it fitted today , there was four holes in the other side like you said , god it was tight but managed it without taking the bumper off , had to remove a bar that ran across the space i needed it looks like a support bar for the oil cooler but i will probably be wrong ,, this is the first car iv ever worked on , so please excuse my stupidity at times lol
