I could be wrong, but i seem to remember reading on here i think about it having rust somehere on the rear arch.

You would have to ask the owner on that one.

yeah thats what im thinkin but it also has 10months mot so cant b that bad! i dont mind doin abit of body work but just wonderin how easy it would b 2 get a match on the paint!

If its on the sill. then it could well be rusting from the inside out. common on the zeds im affraid and costly to repair and you would have to match the colour.

there is a pipe that drains rain water from the tbar through the car and out by the sill. The pipes shrink and pop off and leak water insode of the sill and rust from the inside out :(

you would be best having a good look as it might only be surface rust after the respray??

the paint colour

i wouldnt think so but will ask! he says its a lambo colour as its respray'd, but if it was me payin out 4 a respray id make sure all the rot was cut out of it!

  • Author
ask if you can poor some water down the tbar pipes and see if it comes out :)

will do mate! iv rebuilt a good few rot boxes in my time so dont mind gettin stuck in, but iv got 2 cars that im in the middle of rebuilding from the ground up and dont really want another so if its bad il just leave it!
