Where exactly do you drill the hole to get rid of the water buildup that causes the gurgling.

I'm not really much the wiser. One talks about drilling the hole in the filter casing whereas the other talks about the inlet hose.

i drilled the bottom corner of the filter housing.

 

2 years on it has started gurgling again, so must be blocked now. Before that, it would start gurgling a month or two after emptying.

 

when you take the filter housing off and apart (to dry/replace the filters) you will see what corner part of the housing sits lowest and is easy to drill once off the car.

 

 

I just drilled the hol ein lowest part of the pipe, hasn't returned in 3 years
