In other countries its perfectly acceptable for women to marry on the basis it will improve their children's life etc. I see every day over here. You're sat in a restaurant looking at some pot-bellied 50+ gent, who's clearly banging some 20+ Phillipino stunner. Admittedly they don't often look overly enthusiastic, but nobody forced them into it. Apart from their drug pushing pimps.. (joke).

 

Check it out, consider it to be a scam until 100% sure its not. Make sure there is enough between you to keep the relationship going once the honeymoon phase is over.

 

There are thousands of good looking Russain girls in Dubai - unfortunately most of them only work evenings and have a different boyfriend every night, if you catch my drift. But, I'm sure that there are many decent, genuine brides looking for a ticket out of the USSR.

Trouble is, nowadays you have to get in there early. By the time they're 15 they're already pushing prams. There are probably quite a few nice girls left - but they probably wouldn't be interested in us!!

 

The problem with eHarmony is that its reality based. Therefor you have to be realistic in what you can aim for! On the other hand, if you buy a bride, you can bag a trophy girlfriend who looks good on yer arm!! True, she might empty your bank account and disappear - but not many people think about the potential pitfalls when trying to pick a girlfriend 10-20 years their junior!

When I was single a couple of years back, I dated creep after creep, met a string of the most awful men, the stories I could tell...well lets just say the counselling helped. There are decent women out there, not all of them are mums at 14. Depends what you want at the end of the day, someone to share your life with or a pretty sh@g who'll steal your credit cards and f**k ya mates! Lol

I might be a bit biased, having lived here for 8 years, but German women are generally quit fit, and stay that way until they are older too.. Bavaria - it's Europe's best kept kept secret, a quick image search for dirndls munich beer festival says it all. There is nowhere near the ratio of stunners to mingers in the UK as there is over here. The thing is in the UK, a stunner knows she is, and there is a fair chance she is going to be a bit of a biatch. Over here, its fairly difficult to spot a proper minger.

I'm probably inclined to agree, having just spent a couple of hours in Middlesbrough town centre. Not sure who is worse tho, the men or the women. Pretty much all of them were smoking, stuffing down the Greggs, covered in cheap jewellery, fake tan(the women!), with no manners or consideration for anyone. I think as a rule BRITS are mingers, who don't know how to behave. When we were out in Stoke the other week, before we went to Alton towers, people were out to consume as much alcohol as possible before copping off with the first person who didn't knock them back. Pretty depraved behaviour when you think about it, and I don't understand the mentality of it. So I imagine the European women (and men) probably do know how to behave and aren't foul mouthed, booze swilling, fag smoking, fight seeking mingers, because there isn't the mad booze culture we have in the UK!

I'm not judging your choices AT ALL, each to their own and all that, just surprised initially that people would genuinely consider importing a bride as it were! There are some of us British ladies who don't do all the above who have an appropriate opinion of themselves!!

LOL got it in one there LOL!! maybe its me but i find it harder and harder to find a decent lady out there in the uk today, being quite soft hearted and kind they dont seem to care at all ( not all of them though :wink:)

so my ideal womn would be one from away who i could bring them back home to sunny wales and enjoy my time with them by helping them settle in and showing them all the sites bit corny but there you go LOL
