Hey,

Ok, long story short I can't use regular car baffles on my exhaust, they're all too large! Motorbike baffles will fit though.

My exhaust exit is 2", but inside a 'false' larger exit.

Another problem is mounting them. Normally they attach by a screw fixed through a hole drilled into the exhaust. However, my true exit goes directly into the main box of the exhaust, so fixing it through a hole isn't an option, I'm thinking about constructing a bracket to hold it as well as using Quicksteel.

I guess my question is, is there any reason why Motorbike baffles wont work, reduce the Db?

I have a bit of a DIY exhaust system, so just swapping back boxes isn't a simple cheap option.

Why do you want to fit any sort of baffle?? Its going to kill the power

I just cant take the noise any more! LOL, it really is getting to me now. I mean, as far as I can wok out its a straight through system and I haven't heard a louder exhaust system on any other car.

I think I'm already low on power, don't think she's pulling properly, taking too long for the power to kick in. But I'll get to that prob, right now have bigger personal fish to fry...my Zeds is a bit on the back burner right now, sadly.

Anyway...I use my Zed as a daily driver, and I just need to make her quieter, even if it mean losing some power.

Can you not get a baffled centre section instead ?

I'm not sure, I'd have to have a look at how the exhaust is connected.

As long as its the correct bore, will any work?

I'm not an expert mate, but I would have thought so.
