Hi Folks,

So for the last year, I have been convinced that I was going for the much loved white for the colour change on a SWB slicktop, from gunmetal grey, with a black roof and engine bay.

 

I had set my sights on Ford Frozen White. I have already done the engine bay and roof Toyota Satin Metallic, and I reckon it looks ok.

 

The intent was to keep the car standard (ish) and put a dark tint on the rear and rear quarter glass to match the roof, and maybe subtle carbon wrap on the roof rails, and / or the window guides on the doors (between the front and rear side windows).

 

BUT....

 

I reckon white is getting too common around these parts. Everybody is at it over here, especial the white / black combo, and particularly on run of the mill Beemers and Golfs. I fear it will make the Z look to ordinary / not special enough to stand out.

 

Yes, it looks great, yes, it suits the Z. But I have fallen in love with another colour and I need opinions please!

 

I am deffo not sure about doing white now, fancy the other colour, but I am open to suggestions for anything else.

Yep, was Imported by 'Kirbz' and owned by 'machine' for a couple years, before he sold it on. Very Impressive car.

the orange car has a pentroof kit all round

that ones kinda similar colour to mine...lamborghini arancio burealis

im going OEM gold, in september ish.

Got a sample of a blue, similar to the BSB, the Audi colour, and the Porsche colour. I do like the Lambo orande, it's the same as my bike, and I like the gold too.

 

I'll decide once I run a test spray of each.
