you can do 1 of a couple of things mate, you can do the string bit, or you can use nail varnish remover and paint over it (the clear stuff, not pink nail varnish lol) until it drys up and dies and falls off, or you can do the extreme side of it with some nail clippers, and cut it off, it will bleed for a bit but doesn't hurt that much, just make sure you sterilise them first. also use some anti septic cream after.

All 3 are effective by the way

Tying them takes a few days, as does the nail varnish remover, but the nail clippers are instant. i opted for the nail clippers to be honest, stings a tiny bit, bleeds for a while, but the biggest problem is getting over the thought of doing it lol

cheer's guys, gonna tie some string round now, tried some scissors at work but it hurt so i will try the string job

just shaved me pit's so i dont snag any hair's, would hurt more pulling them out than using the scissors lol

scissors hurts like hell mate, not advisable, nail clippers are the way to go, quick pinch tiny pain, and its gone mate.

Im sure shell would lend you some nail varnish remover?

Thought you smacked it as hard as you can with a Bible?

Oh, that's warts.

Tie cotton round it to stop the blood circulation, it will come off after about a week, but does get sore before that happens. I was told not to cut them off as it may never stop bleeding, i suppose it depends how big it is and the time its been there.

rub some pedigree chum on it and let the dog nibble it off..but dont forget pics:drool::drool:

she would prob pass out lol, might leave it till friday and do it after a skinfull lol

I reckon I'd go with idea too mate. Either way is not going to be pleasant but the nail clippers are the quickest.

Snip snip; then a quick dab with lavender oil or TCP to cleanse the wound and prevent infection, pop on a plaster for a day and job's a goodun!

Good luck Allan - let us know how you got on. Pics are not necessary though mate.......:whistling:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

OR you could just ask to see if your GP's runs a derma clinic where they just nip them off with a tiny hot wire, thus cauterising it at the same time, preventing bleeding and infection?!

Failing that, you could tie clean cotton fairly tightly around them which cuts off the blood supply, leave it for a few days and they will drop off (like farmers do with lambs' tails lol)

I wouldn't chop them off with anything, they have quite a good blood supply usually, could easily get infected

LOL - of course that would be sensible Jane......

......but we're men and we only go to our GP if our head has been kacked off and is hanging by a sinew. And only then if our wives drag us there.

on a more serious note Allan...i confess to having 3 under my left pit which only a month ago tried that freezing kit idea...bad idea as i gave myself 3rd degree burns after over doing it and ime left with 3 scars on top of the dog ears which are still there:wack: ime going to tie them with fishing line soon when the skins not as tender, will post up pics before and after.

Pair of long nose pliers and pull, that's a mans way to do it, works on piles too :devil2:

take a note from jackass 3D with the lambo tooth pull, could do a zed pull, tie a bit of string around it, tie it to the back end of a zed and get them to drive off

Take the advise from Janus.

Get down the Doctors. I had about 10 I'd left over the years. The Doc hot wired them off in about the time it takes to read this thread and no more painful that hot candle wax.

What the hell are they :wack:

inshort; over active skin cells that decide to grow, get no bigger than a few mm, don't hurt, are not dangerous, just look unsightly and bloody annoying if you catch one lol

I pulled my only two out of the base of my neck with the root attached with my bare fingernails which bled like hell and hurt for about 2 seconds but then never grew back again - bonus!
