Hi there all,

Since joining back in 2008 I've been living in Germany. Everytime I've been back its either been without a car or in the 350Z. Well next week I'll be in a proper Zed car and want to meet up with some of you lot.

So I propose a weeknight next week at a pub for a few cokes and maybe a bite to eat so I can get some inspiration for my car and generally bang the world to rights LOL.

I've seen this place as a possible venue however I am open to suggestions.

Tuesday / Wednesday is good for me but again can be flexible, I am back with work after all.

Hopefully see some of you soon, Rob

I'm afraid a 600 mile(ish) round trip on a week night would be somewhat expensive and unlikely for me I'm afraid matey :D Although that being said I am actually in Surrey next week for 3 days, so depending on the day and time, possible, especially if you moved the meet a little further north east from there, you know, nearer the M25, lol.

a wee bit too far for me mate , lol ill get it dirty

Fair one mate, white Zeds aint welcome as I'm getting the itch to spray mine LOL. Scared if I'm close to 1 my Op tour bonus will be spent before I get it LOL.

Only joking on the not welcome bit

Newbury perhaps or Reading?

If so i could be persuaded to pop along as Tuesdays or Wednesdays are days on which i could sneak out early:thumbup1:

Anywhere near the south/west side of the M25 is fine by me. I don't get back from the office til around 7 or 8 when I'm down there is the only problem, but I could make an exception if I know about it in enough time.

Ok well I don't know Reading at all so you may have to reccommend somewhere.

I used to live in the Aldershot/Farnham area and I know a few decent country pubs around there.

Hollowpoint, luckily its light till late so whenever you can get over.

I'm supposed to be going down to Aldershot while I'm down there to pick some bits up, so Aldershot could be good.

Well that would suit me. Atm looks like I'm going to be driving it down with no interior again so I can squeeze a bumper and skirts into it and have him post the bonnet, lol. Thursday would be best for me, as that's the day I'll be coming back up here, so can leave the office, head to Aldershot, meet you guys, pick up my bits and then head up home.

Ah ok, stuff off Paul per chance LOL. Need to PM him about this actually

Kinungawan Turbo I think?

Alright guys,

HollowPoint just drive down without a bonnet and I can bolt on the modded one for the journey home lol.....

I could do Thursday evening next week but I will be in my daily though:hammer: My Black TT is a wee bit poorly and my s14a RB25 is in desperate need of some injectors, propshaft & ecu:sad:

Bad news ..................... The car could potentially be broke still on Thursday. For some reason nobody is interested in fixing mr wheel bearing issue.

If this is the case I won't be able to make it as I will be stuck near Andover car less.

I'll keep you updated.

Whats wrong with your wheel bearing?

It's totally shot mate, got the new one, just needs fitting.

Nissan will fit for £400+VAT, but I'm not stupid enough to pay that, unfortunately a normal garage don't seem to be interested! All of a sudden far too busy.

I know a couple of lads based down at Tidworth/Bulford who'd probably do it for you mate

I could always ask

If you could mate that would be great. Tryed 2 more in Andover today and both said no !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wheel bearings can be changed in about 2 hours tops!

Just need access to a press, a ball-joint splitter and a few spanners!

I hate it when garages turn away these cars, just because they think they're over-complicated!

I know mate, supposedly the book says it takes 3.5 hours when new. Add in the standard garage ballsh1t and because its 20 odd years old will take way over 5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starting to get really annoyed with it now
