erm, have you just got a bottle of gas to squeeze in?!?

ac system needs to be vacuumed down before loading with gas, also if the system is empty now, the reciever/drier should be replaced as it becomes saturated with moisture from the air.

i have a drop in replacement, it is illegal to buy, sell,or use R12.i install commercial A/C for my business so have got the reclaimer and vac pump but just need to know how much needs to go in,the local mandella doesn't know?.

Wouldn't it be more sensible to find out why the A/C isn't working before you refill it? If it's got a leak(probably the condenser)...the gas will just run out again.
