Today, Mikey, Rose and I took two zeds to Glasgow and came back with 3. Rose bought SandyZ's yellow and black 300ZX. We took quite a few cameras, plus phones, so here's a couple of pictures to start off with, when the videos are uploaded to YouTube, I'll post the links here! :D

Manual conversion this week, then a few simple mechanical fixes like skimming the brake discs etc. Then you guys will start to see what Rose does to cars.

It isn't yet, it's still an auto! :D

so where you getting the conversion kit from? or did it come with it?

Well you see the pic of the guy with the still saw cutting the exhausts off? The clue is that wasn't Sandys/Roses Z :D

Good to meet you too mate. Was an awesome day, Glasgow and back in a day with nothin but Z's :D

Wouldn't have been the same if we'd hired a transit to come up. Gearbox sat nicely in the boot of my Z, with the flywheel and the clutch housing and prop etc all snuggled up to it, barely moved an inch all the way back.

Would have been good to see you Del.

Yeah we were getting some good looks all the way home, funnily enough, most of the looks were happening when we were sat in the slow lane at 60 in convoy, according to Mikey, some people in a Ford Focus were videoing us. :D

first real journy for me in my z since i built it. so proud i got there and back in 1 piece. lol:)

could have painted it first :slap:

Ah but he did put the strip across the back above the lights last night so it could be dry before we drove up there! :D

She does, she'll love it more when it's manual and we've skimmed the front discs, some heavy wobble on braking at speed and she, nor I like Autos, but it's just gorgeous. I've even allowed it to spend it's first night in the garage and left mine on the drive :( (That won't be happening for long as mine is currently more proned to rust, being a UK, as yet unpainted after the sill work and not being re-undersealed yet) I'm away for a few days to London and taking my Z with me, so the garage is free and it's getting it's conversion done while I'm away :D Thanks Mikey! :scooter:

Needs a cam belt as the current one has done bugger all mileage, but is approaching it's age restriction fast, then it's mostly over to Rose really to do her thang. The one thing I can rest easy in, is that mine is still the most powerful Z in the house, that may change when Mikey starts doing stuff to his again, but I have plans for my Gunmetal one, although it will get a respray and a few little subtle body mods, most of my mods will be performance based :donatello:

And you guys never even popped in to say hello :(

LOL sorry dude, we literally planned this over night and executed it. Next time we might know in advance and I'll arrange to pop in as we fly past :D Was DIEING to say something on the forum about it last night, but didn't want to tempt fate to make it all go wrong.

We did matey, awesome to meet you, thank you for such a nice Z and being so welcoming and helpful. :D

Poor uk spec car :(

you mean hollowpoints?

you mean hollowpoints?

Nah the one being broke, if you look it has a Uk spec rear. The other red one has a Jap rear, plus its sills are now completey f'd because some tard lifted it up with a Forklift

Edited by murt

the ul spec 1 is completely stripped, what you see in the pic is practically what is there

as for the 1 on the forklift the sills arent being touched by the forks, so they aint "completely f'd"

Then what is the forks resting on?
