Is anyone wanting rear sill repair panels,Im going to be making a pair in afew days(next week at this rate!),if anyone is interested let me know and ill knock out some for them too.Ive seen the guy on ebay selling his,he has the swage line in his,i wont bother as i wont be cutting that far up as things arent THAT rotten lol,so no need for it,if you really need this swage,i can can add it extra.Cant say a price, its time and lime,as Ive not made them before, will be cheap though! Just a rough head count so ill know whether to bother or not,I make an sell a small batch run of repair panels for various classics now and again.Zed rear sills are no prob.

Before things end up down the pan, can i suggest a few things in orer to help you and any possible customers.

1) Make your sill pieces up and work out a unit cost and see if more competitive than what's already on offer from an existing supplier.

2) Photo yourself fitting siad parts to your Zed.

3) Ask the committee/Znut in private for permission to become a trader and sell such parts and similar.

4)Offer your parts for sale assuming permission granted of course.

5)Look at doing ALL 3-4 sill parts as the inners are expensive and certainly the main inner from Nissan is over 200 quid plus vat, sadly this i know lol

6) Look at doing battery trays, Nissan have stopped making these, they wern't cheap to begin with and if everyone went out and removed their battery today, they'd be surprised to see that most are starting to rot.

All IMO of course, food for thought before a Zillion peeps say yes and it turns out you may not actually be able to do them, albeit cost or permission.

Yes dougal, ive been asked already,if mine need replacing, ill make up a set or two extra,i have a feeling mine are rust free, but the lip is abit wonky after trolley jacks being used under them(wonky is a technical term lol),just in case,Im not getting on here much these days,so phone me or email if you dont hear from me to jog my memory.

no problem mate. i fabricated the majority of the front sill on my car but i decided to join it on the edge just along the door shut line, after welding i have a bit of distortion and im yet to do the other side, so i was thinking of buying new. the main problem on mine too was poor jacking causing rust
