Hey peeps,

How can I tell what injectors are fitted, where do I get bigger ones if I need them, and how do I fit them?

Or have I got it wrong, it sounds like pinking when I turn the boost up to around 15psi and give it a boot full.

Cheers:wacko:

you probably just need an ECU/Re-map.

Turn it down buddy..

Z1 supply injectors quite cheaply, but you'll have to pay postage and import duty - so if its just injectors you want, you'll probably find them as cheap in the UK. Your standard injectors are 370cc, so you probably want 5-600cc's to handle that extra boost.

Be careful with that pinking - its the sound of your pistons melting!!

Not sure where you would get them, but probably drift works or sumo would be able to supply.

If you have an older model zed you'll also need a new fuel rail too - might be as simple to get them from Z1

Fitting the injectors is easy, but you need to remove the plenum which is a PITA first time. If the injector fixings/screws are corroded then its a pain. I just fitted a new fuel rail which made it a simple job.

I bought my Nismo 555 injectors on here used, if your not in a rush wait for a set to come up. But get them tested before you fit them.
