And god said .....let there be light!

My drivers side, front side light is'nt working, so i opened it up and checked the bulb,looked ok. Then i thought i'd pull the bulb out of the socket to check it...mistake.It stayed connected on one terminal to a white stringy thing, but on the other side of the bulb it was just a prongy bit of metal stickin' out. Have I bust it? Is there a separate fuse for it?

    The white stringy but is the wire.

    The othere should be attached to the actuall fitting. Change the bulb, its only £2-£3
