Just had a go mate,

 

but the picture is too small and there are not enough pixels for me to work with. Result looked like a childrens drawing book, post a bigger pick up..

That looks sweeeeet :-). Thanks. Think thats just made my mind up on how to go forward with the paint scheme.

Had 3 different style ideas

 

1. Just paint the roof bar panels

2. Do as it is above

3. Do it in chrome effect instead of black.

Roof bars only for me. I wanted to do the pillars like you want but it annoyed me that side on the pillar goes under the wing and doesnt follow another line. just looked like it wasnt finished

Good point there. May need to see if a fading(blending) in effect on the pillar helps make it look any better.

Anychance i could be a real pain and ask you to show how it would look in a chrome effect too please.

Chrome's a bit harder to do cus you need to reflect the surroundings, are you thinking of going similar to audi

Ye, like that but using alsa corps mirror chrome paint.

I see, i cant photoshop that in for you, but give it a go.

Sorry, i ment thats what i would be using,lol.

Never used photoshop so i dont know what colours there is available.

its a matter of masking the colour over, but when its chrome you it either shows as black with no light or white with light and it needs to reflect the surroundings otherwise its just white. Its a bit of a chore to do chrome tbh :D
