Hi

Last night some little F*****r tried to break in to my 300. He managed to fuck all the manual holes for the keys, although it still locks and unlocks with my alarm remote.

I now can't get any keys in either door or my boot.

Whats the likely cost to replace and will I be able to get a original Z key to replace.

As for my alarm I think I'll get a new one as this one didn't go off until it was to late, but at least they didn't get away with the car!

Regards

JW

John,

Sorry to hear about what has happened with your car, just think yourself very, very lucky that you still have a car. I know that it is not very nice having damage done to your pride and joy, but things could have been alot worse!

Hope you get things sorted out.

Tim

get bob to fit you the clifford g600 system dear maybe but it has a fully adjustable proximity sensor and has expansion for the remote engine start etc. my locks and handles may be available next month dependant on me getting the solenoids from america for me to have remote opening

I don't know if things are better now but when i removed the locks off my toyota corolla (GTI) :-) it was almost damm impossible to get into the car when I got a flat battery. Are there other solutions now?

Hi,

I've got a complete lock set with the titanium key.

Call me on 01634 221783 or at geewhizz@onetel.net.uk if you're interested in part or all of the lock set.

Cheers

Andy
