Been working on these for a while now and finaly got them finish. Big thanks to Joely for testing them out for me.

 

The units use 80 (40 per side) 10mm bright white LED's with an output of 290000 mcd.

 

Pictures taken this afternoon and bearing in mind it was a nice sunny day im very pleased with the results. I'm looking forward to getting some nice night shots soon.

Why don't you arrange the led's in a Z pattern. it looks like there will be room in the unit.

Could be a cool little option.

As long as they do actually put out a decent amount of light on the road. Think the Z idea is excellent. That would be Z for sidelights and all LEDs for fog?

There's enough LEDs in there for a scrolling alpha display. Can you put up "MOVE OVER" in reverse? Now there's a product idea .....

Since I converted to manual I've been thinking of uses for the kickdown switch.

What about a scrolling "get the feck out the way, I'm going into warp speed" when you put your foot down :thumbup1:

The zed idea sounds a bit cheesy to me. These are nice and bright, the sun was directly on them in those shots so they did well. To give you an idea, my hids are also on in those pics!

not seen them on the car at night Mike but Joely said they are as bright if not brighter as his HID's. Will have to get some pictures up
