After deciding a few weeks ago to bite the bullet and polish my plenum up, I bought one of them halfords alloy polishing kits that someone mentioned.

Seems now that I have the bug, polished my inner rocker covers up today (cant really see the outer ones when its all back together so didnt bother with those)

Can someone help me throw together a list of potential stuff so I can have a think what else to do whilst the car is in bits? :sweatdrop:

Plenum

Throttle bodies

Rocker covers

front water pipes

P/S Pot

just look at beegee Vinz rides, theres everything you can possibly think of polished in there.

Lol,unless I think of something else.

youm could coat your shiny bits with high temp clear laquer, should stop them corroding, and stay shiny?

Yep, but it has to be a special type that sticks well to shiny sufaces, i imported mine from Alsa in the US, added a couple of drops of Gold pearl as well.

Done me Plenum about 5 years ago, looks exactly the same now!
