i seen an alfa the other day from the back and a bit of the side (in traffic) but couldnt get close enough to see what it was, it had two rectangle exhausts (one each side) and the rear wheel arc was like straight, it was an older model and i cant find it anywhere

from what ive said can anyone identify it?

that's it, what a fookin awesome motor, i would have one of those over any car ive had

the one i saw was red and had twin sqaure exhasut's, was an auto aswell, looked amazing

I remember reading about these when I still at school, when you compared it to what else was available at the time, it was a serious performance car (300+ bhp!). Kind of like an Italian Porsche 928.

Looks like its been on a serious dose of steroids too - like a bouncer in an Armani suit! If I had one of these in the garage I think I'd have to get an Intergrale Evo to compliment it.

Ard as fookin' nails!

The shamal was a spin off from the Ghilbi shape and ran the 3.2 Twin Turbo V8 via a 6 speed box and was the nuts if you liked your boxy italian supercars!

Very rare but would be on the lottery list, along with an SZ......

it reminds me of the intergrale evo, gorgous motor's

I saw won in rosso red once with cream leather and red piping...mmmmm......

The same engine was used in the mk1 quattroporte & the "new generation" 3200gt

:stupid:

that alfa is one of the most stupid looking cars ive ever seen?!

You obviously aint seen many old alfa's, lancia's, maserati's & De tomaso's then....

If you see an sz at full chat flying past you, then maybe you might change your mind.......

(still think your all weird for likeing it, lol) :tt2:

Everyone is entiltled to there opinion, but remeber a 300zx retailed around the same price as the sz in the early 90's and I know which one i would have liked to have purchased back in the day with re sale in mind today.

For anyone interested it could pull 1.4g through a corner in std spec to.....

I think alfa's are an acquired taste. Personally I think they are all fugly, but that's just me :)

I think its a crap looking car too not surprised they only sold a 1000 odd. Given both cars were about the same money I would have bought the zed all day long even had I known what the re-sale would be :) I've never bought into the Alpha Romeo thing totally but they do make some beautiful cars IMO.
