Well a car appeared on ebay a couple of weeks ago that I recognised...

Its been parked down the road from my house ever since I moved in and it hasn't moved, not seen the owner or oat lol.. if you've been to my house believe me, you would have swerved around it as it was in the way lol.

I always thought it was ugly but thought there was something about it, my mate and I often said it would be good with my spare TT engine in!

Anyway someone keyed it down one side about 3 weeks ago, a week later it was gone and now its on ebay! turns out its a 3 litre single turbo, would make for an awesome transplant into a Z with its all alloy engine, all it needs is a big turbo at the top of the engine bay! and its cheap as fooooook! someone buy it!!

never even heard of it let alone seen one, but would make a good transplant. fook knows where you would get parts from.............

2jz isn't it? From a supra..

Ive driven one, an auto and it was nasty!

Still, would be good for parts..

I should have read the advert first!

Not the car i thought it was.

Toyota do one that looks like that with a 2jz in it.

Bargain lol, Scott from Nexus had a customised one, which sold for about £7k, like an armchair on wheels.

You are probably thinking of the Cefira? similar it is, would buy it myself but owning 4 engines and one car is a little excessive already! :scared:

Yeah I had a chat with him about it when I was there, shares a lot of parts with both the Zed and R32 as I remember.

I like it, looks like a Bentley, If I had space i would have that

I actually like that car hmm...

I like it personally, but if you do bid don't forget......

"The fancy alloy wheels are 245x18" and aren't included, bring your own"

Blimey, look at the sticker to the right of the number plate: Xoticar. Haven't heard about them for yonks - are they still going? They used to be in South Croydon (from memory). They fitted my first Mongoose supplied by Jonny / Grasshopper way back in ooer May '02. There's some names from the past for us oldies...

Quite intereting that the engine is from the same family as the 350z's motor. Cool car, shame about the slush box!

hey ! ,He`s dropped the price!!! some one buy it

Mad! cant believe its not sold!!

Hmm I Likey!

Rare as rocking horse ... :whistling:

Makes you wonder why Nissan developed the VQ alongside the VG, surely there can't be that many differences between the engines. Anyone know if they share the same bore and stroke? My money is on they do.

I know a place in Stockport that can you parts for any jap import car ever made - at a premium. Nissan parrts shouldn't be difficult to get hold of though - cars from that era shared more parts than a nymphomainiac's swingers party!

Soo much potential there..
