Hi guys, i really need to get this nocking from the back sorted, im told its just some worn bushes in the suspension and its not important but its driving me mad in an otherwise perfect car! what exactly do i need and where from???? cheers Dom

You might need to get a proper opinion on what is actually causing the knock, it could be exhaust related, or bushes. grab the exhaust on the rear pipe (when cold obviously lol) and give it a shake, not harsh, but just enough that it wobbles like it would on everyday use, and see if you can replicate the knocking sound.

 

If thats not it. then id take it to a garage and get them to have a look at the state of your bushes. As your in Birmingham, it might be an idea to nip along to zedworld and get them to have a inspection and advise you on whats what matey.

Cheers, Im a frequent user of Zedworld and they have informed me that it is deffo the suspension bushes but im struggaling to find out what to order and from whom!! its TEIN trackday suspension apparently and it doesnt like the English roads!

If Zedworld have diagnosed it as a problem with part fo the Tein Coilovers, then its not something they would stock.

 

However Tein do have authorised agents in the UK that can rebuild your coilovers. Im on a really bad internet connection currently, otherwise I would have a search around, but google should be able to find an Authorised Tein repairer in the UK.

 

Best bet would be to have Zedworld remove it and sent it off for rebuild ad see if you can get a set of 2nd hand stock shocks fitted while they are being rebuilt.

I dont think any zeds like UK roads, even the UK spec ones :lol:

 

Might be worth a trip back to zedworld to find out what ones are knackered and need replacing. unless they are blatantly obvious when looking from under the car. look for splits and leaks, and things that just dont sit correctly, get some photos up and we will help you identify what ones need changing if they are obvious.
