My alarm kept going off last night at around 1.30am,not good!!-it's a Toad ai606 I think. The siren seemed to chirp strangely then off it went!-all I could do was cut the siren wires, now it should have battery back-up but only lasted about 10 secs and died??-so if the siren battery is fooked, could it set off the Alarm?? and are the batteries changeable/

I've got the same alarm fitted. never had a problem with the actual alarm though. had an appointment with safe and sound to have them fit a remote engine start/stop and sort out an actuator problem. but they never showed up. he said they were in a car crash or something. I know these things happen and it wasn't their fault but it cost me a days holiday and i still got no closer to getting it done.

the guy seemed to know what he was talking about though...

Replace back up battery in siren, if that does not work then the siren could be duff through damp
